Catana built her for her original owner, who had previously circumnavigated on a Catana 582. Taking the knowledge learned on that circumnavigation, he met with the Catana's designers and builders to develop one of the most luxurious bluewater cruising catamarans ever launched. Her current owners purchased her in Spain and moved her to the same areas of France where she had been built to complete an extended refit. In Canet-en-Roussillon over 5000kg of weight was removed that has greatly improved her performance. Another 1000kg of weight was removed in 2024 with the changeover to Lithium from AGM. A brief walk-through of our newest project, the Hood 35 LM. Built in conjunction with C.W. Hood Yachts, this 35' dual jet cold-molded motor yacht is the 2nd in the Hood/Lyman-Morse series. A plywood mockup of our builds is always constructed in advance of the actual boat's construction. This allows the customer, builder, and designer to see a full scale spatial model of the eventual yacht. It allows us to make changes at this point, instead of further down the construction process when things get more costly and time consuming.

Giorno 315 - SICILIA. Ci eravamo lasciati con una notte da trascorrere in mare e ci ritroviamo qui, a raccontarvi un altro pezzo del nostro viaggio e della nostra vita. La notte si prospetta tranquilla secondo ogni modello meteo consultato. Ma quando vedi nuvole e fulmini, l’attenzione si alza e ti prepara a possibili cambiamenti. Complice anche il bombardamento di video che stiamo vedendo su quello che è successo da poco a Ibiza e Formentera. Per fortuna tutto scorre tranquillo, nessuna goccia dal cielo, ma molta umidità su Julia. Arriviamo a Trapani nel pomeriggio, in una giornata di sole. Domani sarà una giornata di sistemazione e visita della città. Quanti di voi stavano già seguendo il nostro viaggio quando vi abbiamo portati con noi e Alberto a scoprire le Egadi e Trapani?
