This was a short project just to see what can be done with an iPhone an iPad in QuickTime. All footage was shot on our iPhones, a 4 and a 5. It was then copied to our iPad and edited using iMovie for the iPad. The project rules were that it had to be edited in 10 minutes, not counting download and upload. This is the result. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Ep.46 11hours sailing island hop in the Aegean Sea - Carl and Jenny" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oWwtZWul1A -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
One of the most intimidating things for sailors and boaters pulling into Fort Lauderdale for the first time is dealing with the network of opening bridges on the Intracoastal Waterway. In Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding areas on the ICW the bridges open on a schedule with a request over the VHF radio. They monitor channel 9, and open every thirty minutes upon request. Heading north from Port Everglades to Hillsboro Inlet here is the list of bridges and their opening schedule: 17th Street Cause Way - On the hour or half-hour Las Olas Bridge - Quarter or three-quarter hour Sunrise Bridge - On the hour or half-hour Oakland Park Bridge - Quarter or three-quarter hour Commercial Bridge - On the hour or half-hour Atlantic Bridge - Quarter or three-quarter hour NE 14th St Bridge - Quarter or three-quarter hour Hillsboro Inlet Bridge - On the hour or half-hour For more information on anything boating or sailing related, don't hesitate to reach out. www.CatamaranCentral.com info@CatamaranCentral.com
@nexdiving was kind enough to have me visit for a couple of days to learn about regulators. Plus, I got set up with a new sidemount harness, which I absolutely love. It has been YEARS since my Scuba Pro servicing course, and it was really helpful to get all of my questions answered and have hands-on experience with these regulators. Now it's time to practice working on them 🤓 Nex Underwater Products regulators are assembled by a knowledgable team in Monterey, California, and are the best regulators I've ever owned. See full video on my YTube channel. 🔗 in bio. If you check their gear out, use code AZUL to purchase, so I can track metrics. It's not an affiliate code (yet), but I hope to be able to offer you all a deal on these products soon!
