As with most long open ocean passages it’s never a certainty as to when we’ll actually leave. There is currently a very small weather window and it’s looking like we’ll leave Tuesday night (2 days from now). In the mean time, the crew and I are servicing, cleaning, maintaining, organizing, and preparing ourselves and the boat. The plan is to get to Bermuda (3-4 days) and then after a few days sail south to St Martin I’m the Caribbean (5-6 days). Una limpida giornata d'Agosto con rotta verso le secche della Meloria con vista sull'isola di Gorgona, ma il video non rende bene, la giornata era talmente limpida da intravedere sia la Corsica che l'isola di Capraia. video realizzato in mattinata con assenza di vento (patana), al contrario nel pomeriggio i veleggianti che non avevano mai toccato il timone si sono divertiti a far letteralmente volare la barca sull'acqua grazie ad un vento fino a 16 nodi.
