Winter isn't actually over yet, but we still swapped out the ski gear for our rock climbing gear. The south coast of Newfoundland is calling our name. It's not Maine, the Pacific Northwest or British Colombia...I'm sailing a Colorado lake nestled high in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The sailboat is our 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were perfect, so I sailed "wing-on-wing" along the rugged shoreline on a dead downwind run under a full mainsail.
