We were nearing the end of a delivery, during the winter, from Palma to Croatia when we hit some rough weather... initially just a Force 9 it wasn't long before it was blowing 55kts (a F11) Good weather to be in a sturdy yacht! After anchoring at Brick Hill near Cumberland Island, we took about a 4 mile dinghy ride to the Plum Orchard docks. Once there, we hiked across the island to the most amazing beach with literally only 2 other people (way far away). We saw lots of birds, armadillos, a baby tortoise, and of course wild horses. We ❤️ this island/National Park.
