** Infinity Expedition lands in Auckland after 2 weeks offshore*** What a view! - Watch in Full HD We had a tranquil passage from Vanuatu, with light but consistent winds. Land ahoy was the word when we first spotted land, what a feeling! Arrival was in the first hours of the morning, sun raising behind us, and on the distance the skyscrapers. Quite a shock for most of the crew, after months in the tropical South Pacific. Auckland is our home for the next few weeks, while we get ready for our next Journey - Antarctica! Everyone's been hard at work, and a mixture of stoke and apprehension rules. We will be posting a few videos the next couple of weeks, Pirate Hugs Infinity Crew

► On Thursday May 22, Catana Group held an open day at its brand-new production facility for Yot, its new range of powercats. Located on the shores of a perfectly sheltered stretch of water in Aveiro, just south of Porto, in Portugal, the 5-acre (20,000 m²) site is adjacent to that of Xquisite Yachts. This is where the Yot 36 and 41 are produced, ahead of a larger model which we’ll be hearing more about very soon. The shipyard will eventually employ 450 people and have an annual production capacity of 200 units. The day was an opportunity for our senior reporter Brieuc Maisonneuve to sail aboard the Yot 36 (see test in Multihulls World N195: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/motor/yot-36-the-new-wave-of-twin-hulled-motorboating) this time equipped with twin 400 HP V10 Mercury engines – enough to reach 43 knots! ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 600 multihulls tests! The first days at sea with the new Hallberg-Rassy 44 Mk II have given us a very positive first impression. She has a fantastic rudder feel, allowing you to steer her effortlessly with just your fingertips. Even when pushing her close to the limit in a fresh breeze, she remains perfectly balanced and easy to control. The twin rudders provide exceptional grip and confidence, while the carbon steering wheel enhances that feeling even further. During our first sail, she remained beautifully balanced and light on the helm, even carrying full sail in gusts of 28-30 knots. Instead of feeling overpowered, she simply converted the extra pressure into speed, reaching a top speed of 12.5 knots. The in-mast furling carbon mast has taken an already great yacht to another level. Compared with an aluminium mast, its lower weight and greater stiffness allow you to carry more sail area in fresher winds while maintaining excellent balance and control. Beyond these obvious advantages, the carbon mast is also more responsive when trimming and tuning the rig. A fantastic yacht has become even better. Jonas Zelleroth. World premiere at Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv 21-23 August 2026 in Ellös, Sweden. https://www.hallberg-rassy.com/yachts/hallberg-rassy-44-mk-ii
