Anfisbena is my first plywood boomerang Inspired by Pierre Kutek's carbon boomerang "Kayabonga 2" 2'5mm plywood, spray painted Amphisbaena is a mitological creature consisting of a snake with a head on each end. The project started as a gift for a left handed amateur thrower (this is indeed version 3 of the project) and I loved the design so much that I had to make one for myself. Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it!
