On Friday, Heather Thomas broke another record. She finished sailing around the world as the skipper for Team Scotland in the Clipper Race. Thomas and First Mate Millie Apperley are the first female leadership duo to get on a Clipper podium. Overall, Team Scotland finished in third, with 96 points. We caught up with Heather right after the Parade of Sail into Portsmouth on Saturday. The parade celebrated ending the approximately 40,000 nautical mile journey around the world. Molyvos is often considered one of the most beautiful villages in all of Greece. When we moored our boat in the harbor, we immediately understood why. Here, it feels as if time has stood still. The medieval castle on top of the hill dominates the view and has witnessed both the Byzantine and the Ottoman eras. We sent our drone up to capture the beautiful village of Molyvos from a bird’s-eye view.
