This was the first video I ever tried to film. I needed a distraction from what was ahead of me. 3 years ago, with a keel and hull flexing issue back in Scotland. I almost start tearing up remembering this terrible time. The yard was quite far from home, so I had to sleep in the car at the carpark, eat ready meals from the supermarket and shower wherever. This little issue bankrupted me! Literally!! But I leave that for another time. Still, it seems appropriate for a throw-back-thursday :) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9W4L77A-Rw/

This might be the final leg for the 31 boats that are still racing and whether they are closing in on the finish or rounding Cape Horn, for many these are proving to be the hardest miles of the race.
