This was the first video I ever tried to film. I needed a distraction from what was ahead of me. 3 years ago, with a keel and hull flexing issue back in Scotland. I almost start tearing up remembering this terrible time. The yard was quite far from home, so I had to sleep in the car at the carpark, eat ready meals from the supermarket and shower wherever. We've finally made it to the Exumas. We left Morgans Bluff and made our way 78nm to Normans Cay in about 14 hours. The first 8 hours we motored but then the wind started to cooperate and we sailed the rest of the way from essentially the east-end of New Providence down to Normans Cay.
