When purchasing a catamaran there are a lot things to worry about, so the more you know going into the purchase process, the less stress you’ll face. Having a basic understanding of the contract is the first step in the process. The entire IYBA Purchase and Sale Agreement can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for a first time catamaran buyer. If you’re not certain of the terms in an agreement, we highly recommend consulting an attorney. In our opinion, the most important thing to understand are the different dates in the agreement. 9.8 knots yesterday afternoon while out sailing on this vintage sailboat! I know many of you have been much faster on a sailboat, but this was my fastest ever. The beautiful, long lines on this 43 foot 1963 Sparkman and Stephens helped get us up to speed. We were blowing past other boats! 😄 If two sailboats are going in the same direction, it's a race!
