Lake Lipno in the Czech Republic provided an unforgettable week of Olympic sailing as the best young sailors from across Europe gathered to compete for medals at the Junior European Championships. A wide variety of wind conditions and sunny weather ensured exciting racing and great experiences on and off the water. The 2024 European Junior Championships in the 49er and 49erFX classes, together with the Eurocup event in the 29er class, brought an exciting 4 days of intense racing to the Lake Lipno for over 140 competitors from 18 nations. The event was held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic Mr. Petr Pavel. On Thursday, despite a favourable forecast, there was only one race in the 49er and 49erFX classes as a storm thwarted the plans of the race committee. Innanzitutto conterà sulla ormai “classica” carena a V che Cossutti ha pensato per la gamma. Ovvero, con una “V” che parte da prua, sottile lungo la linea di galleggiamento che si allarga man mano che raggiunge il ponte garantendo maggior volume prodiero. Harry bakes his famous gingerbread cookies while on a sail and shares them with his family. They are delicious and warm and he loves baking them! INGREDIENTS 125g butter, softened 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup Golden Syrup 1 egg yolk 2 1/2 cups plain flour 1tbsp Powdered Ginger 1tsp mixed spice 1tsp bicarb of soda METHOD 1. Preheat oven 180 degrees ( 160 fan forced) 2. Cream butter and sugar using electric beater 3. Add egg yolk and golden syrup and mix 4. Add flour , ginger, mixed spice and bicarb and combine 5. Roll into a ball and leave in fridge for 20mins 6. roll out dough between 2 pieces of baking paper 7. cut lots of shapes out using cookie cutters, we use gingerbread men, hearts and a star! 8. Bake in oven for 8-10mins. less if you want soft cookies and longer of you like them hard. 9. Once baked let cool for 10mins on tray then move to cooling rack 10.
