We finished fixing and painting the cockpit, got some of the hardware for rigging back on the boat so we could actually use the Genoa (jib) and set sail for the FIRST time on Freddie! The rudder broke off my Catalina 25 and did not feel like spending over a thousand dollars on a new one. I've had some ponderosa pine laying around in my garage, however I should have used marine grade plywood. I would have been easer and quicker to craft.
