SCOOCH is nicely updated and well maintained Bermuda 40 Classic yawl, recently donated to Maine Maritime Academy and available for a three-year lease-to-own charter. From 2022-24, Crocker’s Boatyard in Massachusetts completed a $200,000 refit to include a 40hp Nanni (Kubota) diesel engine, new air conditioning with revere cycle heat, almost all new wiring, new SeaFrost refrigeration, new Garmin electronics, new head system and holding tank, and new water heater, plus many other smaller ancillary and connected items. Trey is a professional builder and a Seakeeper Ride installer and he sent us a video of his Marissa he was testing out with the Seakeeper Ride tabs installed. From Trey, "I was able to get some short running footage showing how well the Marissa hull works in small chop. The Marissa 18 is the best riding 18 footer I've ever been on and now with the seakeeper ride it makes it even better than before. Amazing hull design paired with technology is very impressive. Speed was about 26-27 mph."
