Despite cyclone warning, we headed off to climb the Le Morne Mountain in Mauritius. The hike is 3.5 km one way - easy trail to the basecamp, where the trail become a bit steep and several sections are nearly rock climbing - not to be undertaken by the faint hearted and definitely not when raining….. We did the climb before the rain started and had a wonderful, not so hot climb. On a sunny day the sea and the different shades of blue / green must be mind blowing. #adventure #hiking #hikingadventures #mauritius #lemorne

Breakdown blues? Day trip gone wrong? How to make the most of a bad day! We hired a car to go and visit a waterfall in the gorge so our son and his fiancee could swim in the cool water. After one hour driving the car broke down with some electrical fault. Our family choose to laugh about things like this, maybe a bit too much! #shorts #sailinglife #daytrip #carfails
