Day 13. Time to reset. The past few days have been heavy. No sleep, rough conditions, low energy… and you could feel it in the mood. So today we decided to change that. Started the day with some yoga. Nothing crazy, just enough to wake up the body a bit. Then we played some games, took our minds off everything for a while. At some point we put on The Greatest Showman which felt like exactly the right choice. And from there it just turned into a proper reset day. Brigadeiro. Karaoke. A full dance party. And of course, a ukulele concert. It sounds a bit chaotic… but it worked. It reminded us why we enjoy this. Why we like traveling together. How good it can be when we actually choose to make it good, instead of just waiting for it to feel good. And honestly, it shifted everything. So we made a new rule: from now on, at least one dance party a day is mandatory. Je me souviens de cet appel en 2020, et je me souviens avoir pleuré 🫠 Pas d’émotion, mais de frustration. Parce que pour moi, c’était impossible. Et je lui en ai voulu de me mettre des idées folles plein la tête. On vivait loin de la mer — lui à Grenoble, moi à Lyon. Je ne me sentais pas capable de naviguer et je n’étais jamais montée sur un bateau avant. Et pourtant… pendant quelques secondes, j’y ai cru. Mais lui ne voyait pas tous ces problèmes comme des barrières infranchissables, plutôt comme des défis qu’on allait surmonter un par un. Et c’est ce qui s’est passé ✨ Certains diront que c’est de la chance. Bien sûr, il y a une part de chance… mais il faut aussi se donner les moyens de réussir ! Ça prend du temps, ce n’est pas toujours facile, mais ça vaut le coup. Parfois, les rêves qui nous font le plus peur… sont ceux qu’on n’arrive plus à oublier.
