The Pegasus 50 hull construction composite is made of a hybrid of carbon and glass fibres, with a PVC core and vinyl ester resin. A carefully controlled vacuum-infusion process creates a laminate of exceptional quality. The combination of glass and carbon fibres increases impact resistance while simultaneously improving structural stability and reducing displacement. The boat benefits from a monocoque construction, in which the deck, bulkheads and floors are bonded and fully laminated to the hull. This creates an extremely stiff structure, without adding unnecessary weight. In this YouTube Short, we explore why wearing shoes can be a problem on boats. Key reasons likely include: 🦠Hygiene – Shoes can bring dirt, sand, or chemicals from land, making it harder to keep the boat clean. ⚠️Safety – Slippery soles increase the risk of slipping on wet surfaces. ✖️Deck Damage – Certain shoes (like high heels or hard soles) can scratch or damage the boat’s surface. 👣 Barefoot or Boat Shoes Only!
