Prima Roberto, poi Renato e Silvia, poi ancora Giorgia ed Enrico. Una rete di nomi che fino a oggi erano dei contatti su un social e adesso sono diventate ai nostri occhi persone in carne e ossa. È una cosa normalissima, eppure non così scontata. Noi ogni giorno registriamo brevi istantanee della nostra giornata, a volte condividiamo riflessioni, impacchettiamo tutto in un reel e lo lanciamo nella rete social, proprio come facevamo con i messaggi in bottiglia virtuali che inviavamo durante le traversate atlantiche. Non sappiamo chi vedrà, chi leggerà, chi osserverà senza lasciare traccia (👀), chi conoscerà poco per volta una parte di noi, della nostra vita, del nostro viaggio. È sempre bello quando si va oltre allo schermo e oggi ci abbiamo pensato in più occasioni. A 100 di questi incontri 🥂 Per tornare con i piedi per terra, oggi ci siamo dedicati alla barca. Una profonda pulizia alla coperta era più che doverosa e adesso Julia è tornata ad avere un tono. Volete sapere una cosa? Domattina arriverà un ben temporale che sporcherà di nuovo tutto 😂🤦‍♀️ Appena passerà la perturbazione, molleremo gli ormeggi dalla Marina del Sole per fare rotta su Trapani. 170 miglia, circa 28 ore di navigazione. The Elan 37 Hindsight made a good recovery after a slow start to chase down the J109 Going to Red a couple of minutes into the racing out of the Quoile Yacht Club. Hindsight gybe shortly after this to split the course with the rest of the fleet, this turned out be a smart move as they headed for the counter tide on the Portaferry shore of Strangford lough. They did not look great early as the rest of the fleet stayed high and in pressure, as the leg went on it became clear that they would lead at the Bottom Mark. Hindsight stretched out to a lead by over over two minutes, GTR fort hard on the next beat to chase the leader down, going on to win the race. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.
