In this Short Sailboat Life video I practice Solo Sailing to Anchor. I sail my 32 foot Ericson Sailboat to my favorite anchor spot all by myself. SOLO SAILING! Once I'm there I drop anchor and the push the main sail forward to back down on the anchor. Gotta make sure it's set! Trash on a boat is a daily occurrence! When we buy groceries we try to remove and leave as much packaging on shore but trash inevitably accumulates. In each new harbor we have to find the spot where cruisers can deposit their trash. In some cases, like St Maarten, it’s free. In other countries, or ports, there are small fees. The one thing a cruiser should never do is bring trash to land and leave it for someone else to take care of. Instead…stop by your neighbors (even if you don’t know them yet) and tell them you’re doing a trash run and you’re happy to take theirs! Follow us for tips, updates, how tos, and more about living the sailing cruiser lifestyle. #takingoutthetrash #sailingexperience #sailinglife
