To avoid terrible sailing conditions, we made the bold choice to cross the notorious Sulu Sea from Malaysia to Palawan, stopping overnight on an island deep in the red zone!? Known for pirate activity and unpredictable weather, this quickly became one of our most intense and nerve-wracking passages yet. Each August, we have a special trip to the Sea of Cortez/Midriff Islands to benefit breast cancer research with Dive for a Cure. In August 2020, we had 18 fun-loving ladies, a big inflatable pink flamingo, a pink tutu, and lots of craziness to go with an even crazier crew. We had a blast!
