The hulls of Tiwal have been tried and successfully tested under a wide variety of (severe) operating conditions. The hulls are notably made more resistant by an overlay of yellow PVC. Nord est Vela Sailing Team, organizza il Corso Skipper 1°Comando della durata di una settimana che permette all'allievo comandante di acquisire la competenza, l'esperienza e la sicurezza necessaria per condurre in autonomia ma sopratutto in sicurezza una imbarcazione da crociera. Durante il corso, verranno affrontate tutte le tematiche relative all'ormeggio e all'ancoraggio, alle comunicazioni di bordo, alla gestione dell'imbarcazione e delle vele anche con cattivo tempo e mare formato e in navigazione notturna. Oltre al normale svolgimento giornaliero del corso, tutti gli allievi, a turno, ricopriranno il ruolo di Capobarca per mettere alla prova le proprie capacità di gestione, di organizzazione, di controllo e di comando, che si addicono al ruolo di uno skipper serio ed affidabile.
