This squall line really hit us by surprise. It was a wall of rain and almost 80 knot gusts that hit us full force. Unfortunately the holding in Black Sound at Green Turtle Cay wasn't the greatest and boats started dragging. Cory had to start driving on anchor trying to steer into the wind while taking pressure off the tackle. We ended up wrapping our chain onto a mooring ball in this madness which kept us in place. We faired far better than some, losing outboards boats dragging on moorings and some aground in the area. Luckly only our bow roller got bent and that was all. What an adventure! #shorts

The Sailing Life in the Abacos is real sweet. We have been anchored at Allans-Pensacola Cays for a few days and Cory's been catching lots of meals. Today's spearfishing catch 2 beautiful hogfish. #shorts

We made it to Hawksbill Cays and Fox Town in the Abacos. The sailing life is sweet as we go on dinghy adventures around cays, mangroves and sand bars. Make sure to subscribe for more videos and don't miss our weekly full lenght episodes every Thursday.

We sailed across Little Bahama Bank in 20-25 knots to then stop at Barracouta Rocks. There we speared a huge spadefish, a lobster and got a conch. And right now we are enjoying a dinghy adventure around Double Breasted Cay in the Northern Abacos. Loving the sailing life!

This is it we are on our way to the Abacos. We decided to go through Indian Cut at higher tide to save us a good 4 to 5 hours. The wind has been blowing 20 knots with higher gusts but luckily here the waves are much smaller. Stay tuned for more updates and subscribe to watch our Thursday weekly full lenght episodes.

We're doing some boat projects and editing in Freeport. With the strong Northern wind and having to get our 5 Day Covid test this was the perfect place to be. But now free to Roam around the Bahamas we are just waiting on the weather to let us head to the Abacos. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day.

After 12hrs of motor sailing across a really calm Gulf Stream we made it to the Bahamas. checking in was super easy and we're so excited to be back to the blue water of #bahamas. Now it's time to explore a different part of the Bahamas. #shorts

Yay. We are finally setting sail from West Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island in Northern Bahamas. We managed to get our paper to leave the US stamped at the airport, received our Covid negative test results, applied to the Bahamas Health Visa, got accepted and paid for it. We only have 5 days from the date of testing to get to the Bahamas so that's why we're leaving tonight. The wind is going to be light but hopefully we get a little more. After 260Nm and about 46hrs we sailed all the way from Jacksonville to West Palm Beach. We even saw manta rays on the way South and a rocket. good crossing overall. We got our Covid test done today and are now waiting for the results to cross to the Bahamas. Wish us luck. #shorts

We are sailing into the night with an almost full moon and barely no wind. Actually we are motoring. Heading to West Palm a more or less 250Nm journey from Jacksonville and we do 5-6Nm per hour. #shorts
