We left the boat in Luperón and roadtripped to the mountains of Jarabacoa Dominican Republic Hiked Montaña El Mogote with our 2 & 3 year old… steep, slippery, exhausting 😅 But the views? This squall line really hit us by surprise. It was a wall of rain and almost 80 knot gusts that hit us full force. Unfortunately the holding in Black Sound at Green Turtle Cay wasn't the greatest and boats started dragging. Cory had to start driving on anchor trying to steer into the wind while taking pressure off the tackle. We ended up wrapping our chain onto a mooring ball in this madness which kept us in place. We faired far better than some, losing outboards boats dragging on moorings and some aground in the area. Luckly only our bow roller got bent and that was all. What an adventure! #shorts

The Sailing Life in the Abacos is real sweet. We have been anchored at Allans-Pensacola Cays for a few days and Cory's been catching lots of meals. Today's spearfishing catch 2 beautiful hogfish. #shorts

We made it to Hawksbill Cays and Fox Town in the Abacos. The sailing life is sweet as we go on dinghy adventures around cays, mangroves and sand bars. Make sure to subscribe for more videos and don't miss our weekly full lenght episodes every Thursday.

We sailed across Little Bahama Bank in 20-25 knots to then stop at Barracouta Rocks. There we speared a huge spadefish, a lobster and got a conch. And right now we are enjoying a dinghy adventure around Double Breasted Cay in the Northern Abacos. Loving the sailing life!
