As wide multi-hull sailors, we don't have many boatyards to choose from when time to haul out. When we contacted the Wik in Sorong, Raja Ampat, we decided to give it a go. We are using PredictWind.com new Departure Tool to help us sail in good conditions during our sailing passages from Philippines to Tahiti, with Bob McDavitt as extra ace before long & crucial passages. On our way from Noro in the Solomons, we traveled across all of the Solomons to check out of Lata. From there we sailed direct to Santo to clear in as Sola was not open for check-ins. We had to be very patient in Santo to get ok conditions to sail to Port Vila. Filmed in May to November 2025. Next video will cover leg 5 from Vanuatu to Tonga.
