As the sails are furled and the echoes of Porto Cervo begin to fade, we find ourselves reflecting on an event that was far more than a regatta. It was the living expression of Southern Wind's "Perfect Balance", a symphony played across four unforgettable days in the turquoise waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago. Twelve iconic yachts. Four days of racing, laughter, and shared moments. From the precision of competitive racing to the warmth of family on board, every owner, guest, and crew member contributed a unique note to a truly harmonious composition. As Southern Wind's Commercial Director Andrea Micheli put it: "Southern Wind is like a symphony orchestra, where the challenge lies in balancing the role of different instruments and musicians. We never allow a single voice to dominate. Instead, we focus on the harmony of the whole." SW96 Fortissimo is a yacht crafted around a versatile owner's vision, as explained by Commercial Manager Jeremy Peek: "We've achieved the purpose which is to be a competitive racing boat but also able to circle the globe and go long range cruising to spend the summers in New England or the Med and spend each winter in the Caribbean. And then of course the racing focus will be competing in the top-level superyacht events around the world with strong expectations to be on the podium."

Day 2. Adrenaline. And Determination. There is something extraordinary and spectacular about watching a fleet of superyachts navigate the narrow channels of La Maddalena: towering masts crossing paths, hulls grazing past each other, crews working in focus as the wind funneling through the Strait pressures the sails for the final upwind leg. 33 miles of pure competition. Of focus, of tactics. Two days done. One still to live.

Day One was Togetherness. And Symphony. There is a rhythm to every race day. The stillness before the start. The silence when the wind drops. The rush when it fills the sails. And then the quiet of the harbour, the whole family together as the sun sets. Day 1 of the 20th Rendezvous played every note. Three days to go. Today was only the beginning!
