RACE. AND EXPLORE. There are days made for racing and challenge, and others made for discovering untouched routes. A Southern Wind is born to do both - with the precision of a racer and the soul of a performance explorer. It’s not about choosing a route. It’s about creating your own rhythm.
CHASE THE WIND. AND ENJOY THE CALM. There’s a moment when the sails are perfectly set, the bow crosses the waves, and all you hear is the wind. And then, there’s silence - the kind that rises when everything falls perfectly into place. On board a Southern Wind, power and peace don’t compete. They complete each other. It’s the perfect balance. And it’s all yours.
At Southern Wind, we don’t just build yachts : we design experiences. Our Rendezvous is crafted to be inclusive and enjoyable, offering each owner the sailing format that best suits their vision, style, and spirit of adventure. Performance, Corinthian, and Rendezvous are the three divisions our owners can choose from at the upcoming SW Rendezvous and Trophy, held in Porto Cervo during the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS). Today we introduce: THE CORINTHIAN DIVISION. For owners who appreciate a more relaxed approach to racing. This division simplifies race prep, with fewer professionals on board, encouraging owners, friends, and family to take an active role – especially at the helm – and enjoy the friendly, “soft” racing atmosphere.
The construction of the SW96#06 is proceeding at pace with all bulkheads now installed. She was demolded last week, and the SW team are preparing for the first dry fit of the deck. This time next year, she will be touching the water for the first time, watch this space for further updates.
The countdown is on: one month to go! The XIX SW Rendezvous and Trophy is getting closer, bringing with it the joy of reuniting with familiar faces, sharing the wind, and living unforgettable days in Porto Cervo. From May 27th to 31st, a fleet of 11 yachts will sail together in the crystal-clear waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago, surrounded by the beauty and spirit that Southern Wind and its community create. We thank our valued partners for their support in making this event a special one in the superyacht calendar.
THE OCEAN TOGETHER Three Southern Wind yachts together for an unforgettable crossing. SW94 Aragon, SW96 Liberty, and SW110 Thalima just met again off Gibraltar, each sailing her course from the Caribbean to the Med. They shared the horizon in the Horta anchorage, and now again at the gateway to the Mediterranean. Alone is nice, but together is special.
