Today we leave our anchorage next to James Bond Island, and after a shallow passage to the Gypsy Village. We are picked up by Arrun in his long-tail boat less than 10 minutes after setting the hook. And we were off for another Phang Nga Bay adventure. We would see 3000 year old wall paintings, the Guidos Cave, and after lunch we take a walk around the Gypsy Village. Now that was a full day of adventure!

After we left Aruba we sailed for 45 hours and arrived to Santa Marta Colombia. We did not know much about this place and were considering skipping it altogether, but it turned out to be one of our favorite places! Loved it so much! Nice people, so much to see, very cheap and everyone was so friendly! Too bad we spent only 5 days there.... :((

Gunboat 68 Highlights
– The Gunboat 68 has been designed as an eco yacht to get sailing fast in lighter winds
– You customise your own performance yacht from a menu of packs
– The two main optionsare: Cruising Pack and Racing Pack.
– Gunboat 68-01 has reached speeds over 30 knots. Yes, that's surfing, but still, these are fast yachts.
– This catamaran has a well thought out, tidy design with most sail handling done from the forward cockpit.
– Christophe Chedal Anglay’s interior design is luxurious.
– The SA/D ratio on the Regatta set up is 38. The rotating mast is optional.

On this weeks episode @kimberlywood-saltybutterfl262 and myself continue our exploration of Maui's anchorages and find ourselves in a dangerous situation at Molokini Crater with wind and seas pinning us into the small lee shore crescent shaped crater. Once out of this clutches we sailed hard on the wind back towards Maui and didn't like the look of "Big Beach" Anchorage so we continued on to the amazing La Perouse Bay.

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I`m sailing around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.
Even though this is season 4 on youtube I did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and have also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.

I'm just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things that might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don't have the blueprint either. I'm not perfect and nobody is. This was the first video by Ken with new software, Final Cut Pro, and there was a bit of a learning curve. I have been pushing Ken to finish the Vid for a few months, but this was worth the wait!!!! In a very detailed way, I think too much detail sometimes, Ken shows a number of the system aboard Aquarius and how they work, like the bow thruster and a look into the engine room, and….. so much more!
