We keep exploring Panama while we wait our big day when we transit Panama Canal and we sail to San Blas Archipelago - what a treat to see indigenous tribe that saved their culture the best in all the Americas! What a place and what a people! Meanwhile Zivile's mother leaves and instead of two friends only one is allowed to come to Panama... Oh well.. we do the best we can to stick to our plan to learn kitesurfing, but weather is not cooperating at all. We visit Nitrocity in Panama, explore local places around the marina and finally give up and go to spend the rest of time in Panama City and have some fun. Join us!

Going back in time to when Thailand started the Quarantine, and lockdowns. This was when we stopped doing our normal channel videos, and a slight depression took over our lives. Our plans put on hold, and though we continued to do some video updates, our normal channel videos were put on hold... So, we are going to catch up, and start anew come the end of the year. Then we will cross the Indian Ocean, and sail Aquarius back to her birthplace in the Med. Hope you enjoy the video! And please like and subscribe to our channel.

There's a big crowd of sailors coming to Opua, New Zealand about the same time to in order to get away from typhoon season in higher latitudes and Bay of Islands Marina together with local businesses are throwing a party for us - a whole week of fun and informative events - Cruisers Festival. Festival is ended by group sail to some of the islands - we loved it! We also will be looking to buy a car, since we planning to stay 6 months in New Zealand, and especially because we want to tour whole island! Join us!

After nearly loosing and miraculously retrieving drone in Borneo we take off to long journey to our last stop in Indonesia - Nongsa Point Marina. All starts well and we even get some good wind to sail… until I find out that video sound was corrupted and I have to redo video and make a small change to our course to re-upload the video. That takes longer than expected. Then we loose our alternator and that stops charging our boat batteries and start battery. Then we reconnect investor to do most of charging… Until we loose invertor too! And it’s so hot and no wind at all. We motor for days sometimes running generator to charge our batteries and some of our devices. Then even navigation devices start giving up on us for no good reason… And that has to happen when we navigating the boat (while showing) in the busiest waters in the world! To top that we have to show the boat, and oh - did I mention that we were fasting? Ken had no food for 3 days! If you don’t believe it - you have to watch it!

When we left Morocco there was no wind at all, but the forecast was showing strong winds - and as we went on it was building up fast.
The following day the wind shifted - it’s still way behind us but moved a bit from starboard to port so we had to switch our pole set up - from port to starboard.
To say the least - it was NOT an easy passage, and so far - the longest for my mom, who will be leaving us soon.

We would love to spend more time in Pervezza and soak in its cool vibes but in about 4 days we suppose to meet our friends 350 NM away - so we go, but first - we will stop in Corfu - which is about 60 NM away and we should make it there in time for dinner.
Again - no wind, which is not the ideal case but at least the wind is not against us. So we will take what we get and as any sailor knows - planning exact dates further distance away - we are in the grace of the wind Gods.
Will we make it to Corfu, or even bigger question - will we be able to get to Croatia, Korcula in time to see our friends?

This is one of “A day in Life” series of our videos - we’ve already done “A day in life in the anchorage”, and “A day in life on a hard/ in a boatyard). As you might imagine all these days a a bit different…
Here we are on a 480NM sail that should take about 3 days and 4 hours or so.. We start with doing the night watch shifts and start day as normal - setting up the sails and having breakfast until we find out that the video that I finished up in a rush and uploaded while having internet is corrupted by sound errors (I should have watched it after it was “cooked” and before uploading but that’s another 30 minutes) and we made a decision to fix it and take off the way closer to the island where we can get internet signal and re-upload it. We do not have time nor knowledge if it’s a suitable place for anchorage so that was out of questions. The rest you will see in the video…

We had really good time in Labuan Bajo, where we relaxed and took some time off from non stop island hopping, But now - that’s exactly what we gonna do in Komodo National Park. The Park is famous for the countless dive spots, and of course one and the only Komodo dragons, which we visit in Rinca Island. Well to say the least - scary and impressive! We were sailing up the Saudi coast and trying to drop the anchor in a tight spot close to Zatara. But, the prop just spun off the bow thruster. Now, we have to go through the process to fix it. This video shows how to repair the bow thruster while in the water.

We replace the washing machine in this video. It was much heavier than I had thought, but we did it.... And we only broke one small thing.... The nose cone on the wind generator. :(

As we air this video, we will be taking off for Pacific Ocean Crossing!!! Wish us fair winds!
Long journey motoring from beloved Colombia to Panama, where Zivile's mother joins and Rokas leaves. We come to remote Linton Bay Marina. From there we go to Portobello and check out San Lorenzo Fort. We visit Panama City old and new parts. We also visit Panama Canal Miraflores Locks Visitor Center. It was great learning experience before we transit with Aquarius. Join us for our Panama adventures!

In the previous video we showed as we arrived in Krabi Boat Lagoon where our Amel Super Maramu 2000 - Aquarius was hulled out as COVID was in full swing and plans remained unclear. Now we are back to get her ready and continue the circumnavigation.
We have to apologize as Aquarius is in a boat yard, where many works are being done, especially us being "parked" next to one of the shops - there's some background noise... But that's the real life while on a hard - as we like to joke - "it's a hard life on a hard" :D
