It's 3 years as we are on this amazing crazy journey... 30 countries visited almost 20,000 NM sailed and so much experienced! It takes us all the way back in Caribbean, where we started via Panama Canal across the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand and up to Thailand, where we are now.

This video was filmed in the middle of June - before Hurricane Beryl. And I understand that now sadly most likely it looks differently… But I think it’s important to see those islands’ beauty before the disaster as all we get to see nowadays is the sad state that was left after the hurricane…

After the quick rig tune was finished in Martinique we and our friends took off straight to St Lucia and then moved on to the beautiful islands of St. Vincent and Grenadines. Please note this was January 2020, before Covid-19 pandemic, and the lockdowns that would follow.

Our route to circumnavigate will put Aquarius on West side of Thailand, and our first stop with Aquarius will be Phuket or Krabi. Bangkok is on the other side of Peninsula, so, no way to get there on Aquarius unless we want to sail back down the Malacca Strait and around Singapore. We still have some business to do in Bangkok, and flights from Langkawi are cheap - so while Aquarius sits safely in a Langkawi Marina, Z and I hop a plane for Bangkok.
There we visit China Town, Famous Khao San Rd., ride Chao Phraya River back and fourth, stop at Wat Arun in Bangkok - Temple of Dawn, then BMK shopping mall, get good dose of massages and "view" the crazy food options. We finish our visit to Bangkok with River Dinner Cruise. Join us!

Maupiti is one of the less visited islands in Society Islands group with a tricky narrow passage to get in & out. As we came with little expectations for this place we had a pleasure to discover local artist and visit his exquisite house. After our both masts broke in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean about 4 months ago, the hard work that Ken and all the tradespeople put in over the last two months has paid off. One day we woke up to what it looked like some stinky oil spill - so we hurried up to get out - 15 NM north next to world famous Cokes break. We anchored next to newly built/ reclaimed island that will probably soon become another well manicured Maldives resort, that looks just like a paradise with $4000 per night rooms... Pretty interesting how they build those new islands! After we go to Thulusdhoo - just around the corner to find a truly spectacular place we did't wanted to leave. We meet lovely people, took a taxi boat to a Bar Boat - became a tourist for a night and had some fun. Next we were invited to dinner by @SamuraMaldives resort by the owner.... Amazing... Too bad Z's mom is leaving soon, and therefore we have to go back to Hulhumale, and get PCR tests to enter Crossroads marina... Join us!
