We Mounted Cummins 6.7s in Detroit 12v71-Sized Holes!

After more than a year of planning, building, and prep-this is the moment we've been working toward. In this episode, we finally mount our Cummins 6.7 truck engines into the engine room of our 78' aluminum yacht, Tangaroa. But dropping them into holes left behind by two massive Detroit Diesel 12V71s wasn't simple. The Cummins are much smaller, which meant Blaine had to custom design and fabricate brand-new engine mounts that would handle the torque, align with the shafts, and give us a rock-solid setup for the long haul.
