Trip # 279 Narrowboat Trip from Redding, Scotland to Falkirk, Scotland | What Yacht To Do

After going around America's Great Loop two times plus started a third before selling our Carver 504, we thought, NOW WHAT?!? After researching many options, we decided on hiring a narrowboat in the Scottish canals. Today we are moving the narrowboat from Redding, Scotland back to the hire base in Falkirk, Scotland. We went under bridges, through two tunnels, back through the Falkirk Wheel and to the hire base for a pumpout. We didn't need fuel. After that we turned the boat around and then later docked for the night at the base.
