It's been busy at the bottom of the world as more of the Vendée Globe fleet rounds Cape Horn and turn up into the South Atlantic. Exiting the wastes of the Indian and Southern Oceans behind is a big psychological step for all, but for one skipper the infamous headland marked a crushing blow. But much as the front runners may have been looking forward to the home run to the finish at Les Sables d'Olonne, this stage of the race has proved to be very stressful for the leaders who have been trapped in a windless and unpredictable hole.
