The RS Games 2022 - Day Thirteen

Day 13 at the RS Games was wild! 🌊💨💦 Big breeze, dense mist and solid chop created a step change in conditions from the champagne sailing that we've seen so far at the RS Games. The Rooster hoodies were flying out of the shop as sailors and supporters started layering back up to a suitable warmth level for a typical British summer. The RS Aero's and RS500's launched first. The mist descended heavily across the racecourse which seemed to make the racing dial up a notch as visibility dropped. Decision-making got infinitely harder, and sailors had to work hard to keep their boats driving through the building chop. Unfortunately for the RS Tera sailors by mid-afternoon conditions were not looking any more favourable and the PRO made the difficult call of abandoning racing for the RS Tera sailors for the day.
