With every long passage we learn a stack more, about ourselves, about each other, about life at sea, and first and foremost, about Little Miss Avalon. This time we learnt that motor sailing on a starboard tack is a sucky move. Oh, and that our hand pump (fuel) doesn't work. As perverse as it may seem; this was by far one of our best weeks on Finding Avalon. I mean, there really is no room for boredom when you've got wind on the beam, dolphins and a bit of problem solving.
