Das Jahr beginnt turbulent. Ein Sturm jagd den nächsten, nachts müssen wir Ankerwache gehen und tagsüber kommen wir kaum von Bord. Durch die Überschwemmungen mussten die Staudämme abgelassen werden, was zu massiven Strömungen und jeder Menge Treibgut führt. Das wird für uns eines Nachts zu einem echten Problem ... The year gets off to a turbulent start. One storm follows another; at night we have to keep watch at anchor, and during the day we can hardly get off the boat. Due to the flooding, the dams had to be drained, resulting in strong currents and plenty of flotsam. One night, this turns into a real problem for us...
