Rencontre avec Pip Hare, Medalia | Vendée Globe 2024

🇫🇷 Pip Hare a commencé à naviguer en compétition sur le tard en participant, en 2011, à la Mini Transat. En 2018, la skipper britannique a choisi de concrétiser ses rêves en devenant le skipper de Superbigou, l'IMOCA construit en 2000. À la barre du plus ancien bateau de la flotte, elle pouvait enfin savourer le bonheur d'être sur la ligne de départ du Vendée Globe en novembre 2020, l'aboutissement de deux années de travail acharné. La skipper avait quitté les Sables d'Olonne avec plusieurs objectifs : terminer, raconter la plus belle histoire et résister à toutes les épreuves de la course. Ces objectifs ont été plus que remplis. Cap sur 2024 désormais ! 🇬🇧 Pip Hare started competing in sailing later in her career, participating in the Mini Transat in 2011. In 2018, the British skipper chose to fulfill her dreams by becoming the skipper of Superbigou, the IMOCA built in 2000. At the helm of the oldest boat in the fleet, she could finally savor the joy of being on the starting line of the Vendée Globe in November 2020, the culmination of two years of hard work. The skipper left Les Sables d'Olonne with several goals: to finish, to tell the most beautiful story, and to withstand all the challenges of the race. These goals were more than achieved.
