Removing Vinyl Boat Decals and Finding Lady Fun Onboard Our Sailboat

After an epic ten day passage we finally have our sailboat home and it is time to get some boat jobs completed. In this episode we show how to remove vinyl boat decals from the gel coat using only the sun and avoiding any damage. We also start to clean out the various storage areas on the boat and in the process we find lady fun onboard!! We also have a visit from family members who are keen to see our new floating home and we experience some major storms in the marina. We are Gav and Shezz an Aussie couple with a dream to sail and scuba dive around the world. We bought our Beneteau Oceanis 430 in October 2023 with zero sailing experience but the belief that we can do this. We have filmed our journey from looking for boats, buying the boat, downsizing so we can liveaboard and all the messy wonderful life stuff in between.
