Our Frankenstein Bimini Frame | ep. 161
A hard top bimini will protect us from the weather while sailing. We salvaged this aluminum frame from a powerboat that was being crushed in the boat yard. Now we need to cut it apart to fit our sailboat and then put the pieces back together to create the perfect solution to hold our solar panels and catch water while keeping us dry. This means learning to weld aluminum with a Hobart 140 mig welder. We are a family preparing to sail around the world in our electric sailboat. Join our adventures as we learn to sail and figure out all we need to know about living on a boat with kids. **************************************** If you came here looking for our Amazon links, you're a special kind of awesome human.
