Our anchor chain snapped ... anchor gone forever. DAMN IT! (II: E06)

We're leaving Cape Lookout. Our first offshore passage with the kids and night time arrival. We continue on the ICW and just when we took a steering wheel off to put new leather on, our chain snaps, anchor lost forever. We're limping to the City dock in Wilmington.
