These jellyfish were all filmed from Monterey Bay, California to South East Alaska via British Columbia.) These are all (save one at the end!) Scyphozoan medusae in the phylum Cnidaria. I call them jellyfish because that's what people know them as, though there are many different types of gelatinous zooplankton that are *not* jellyfish as these are. They're not fish, yes, but "sea jellies" then includes siphonophores, salps, pteropods, larvaceans...
