Off Grid Cabin Update - Yikes, Minus 11 Degrees

In this video, we make the 2 1/2 hour trek to the cabin on a -11 degree morning with an overnight low of -29 degrees. I decided to not go at the last minute, but my friend Billy convinced me that it would be good "cold weather training" - so we went! Unfortunately, the cordwood that I bought was still wet under the surface and did not make a proper fire, so we couldn't get the cabin temperature up over 30 degrees. In spite of all of that, we managed to get a few things done! The next trip, we will finish trimming out the windows, move all of the tools and equipment back down to the shed at the "base camp" and give the cabin a thorough deep cleaning!
