ODYSSEY 2015 - Plastic is everywhere
During its round-the-world environmental expedition to assess plastic pollution, the Race for Water Odyssey stopped on an island in the Pacific. A paradise and inhabited atoll. Inhabited...but still soiled by plastic! Plastic mostly coming from land based activities and accumulating in regions governed by ocean currents, so called trash gyres.
