Famously known as the Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik’s iconic walls are one of the best preserved fortification systems of the Middle Ages. With 6 fortress to discover, enjoy panoramic views as you stroll the walls that encircle the city. Fortica Omiš is a 15th Century Venetian structure perched high on a hilltop overlooking Omiš town below. A town once run by Almissa pirates, aortic is now an unmissable stop to see. Find yourself absorbed by the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic complexion all of Central Europe. Trogir’s Roman Town was recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. For a relatively small country, Croatia has many monuments listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO including Sibenik’s grand St. James Cathedral that hicks you away with its intricate details and huge design. It’s no wonder that this is the most significant architecture in Croatia! Finally, monuments don’t get much more significant than Zadar’s Roman Forum which is the mot accurate example of an ancient city given its layout.
