Low Pressure System Punta Gorda FL (Dec 2023)

On December 16th and 17th, 2023, The West Coast of Florida experienced a late-season low-pressure system. Because it was out of Hurricane season, it didn't quite have the attention it may have otherwise, but it dumped a ton of water on Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, Florida. See a drive around Punta Gorda, W. Retta Esplanade, Marion and Olympia Blvd, and Poce DeLeon Park. We all see flooding, but luckily, it doesn't look like it got too deep into homes.
