Bis zur Erhöhung der Staumauer in den 1950er Jahren war der "Eichert" noch eine Halbinsel, wird seitdem aber im Volksmund als "Liebesinsel" bezeichnet, da sich offenkundig Liebespärchen der Gegend gerne dorthin zurückziehen.
