After competing twice in the Vendée Globe and winning the Solitaire du Figaro three times, Jérémie Beyou, at the age of 38 and with two sons aged six and ten, is one of the pillars of the IMOCA class. Skipper of the 60-foot Maître Coq, aboard which he is preparing for the next Vendée Globe, he will be lining up at the start of the Route du Rhum on 2nd November.
