Hurricane Dorian! Even in Canada we feel his wrath. #hurricane #sail Ep 25
We prepare for and endure Hurricane Dorian's approach while in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. We thought we were far enough North but Dorian came in with some clout. We prepared Hangtime in a secure location; took down the jib, lashed the main and tied her tight with multiple lines and fenders. Luckily he went easy on us and we were able to sail back to Nova Scotia the next day. ----------------------------------------- Subscribe: www.youtube.com/c/sailinghangtime Posting on: https://www.facebook.com/sailinghangtime https://www.instagram.com/sailinghangtime/ Recent Videos: https://youtu.be/AsMtfvS0zRI https://youtu.be/HnTzxq2SC-Y -------------------------------------------- About us: We are a family of four who have been living on our boat for the past 2+ years with our two boys and our newest addition, a Havanese pup named Ruby. We worked hard in our 20's and 30's and built a company that has an amazing team managing it and allows us to work remotely and take time to enjoy this time with our fmaily. We love adeventure, sports and an active lifestyle but also take pleasure in a great meal or a sunset gin and tonic. Boat life is challanging and busy but we have been learning as we go and have a great appreciation for the sailing community and the willingness of others to teach and share skills. After two seasons in the Caribben we're hoping to Hangtime through the Panama Canal and onto New Zealand in 2021.
