Hunting Anchovies in Raja Ampat
Witnessing underwater hunting in Raja Ampat This dive site has a few different names ... Puri Pinnacle, Anti Chovi and Grouper Net. There might even be a few more For a few months every year, his dive site in Misool, Raja Ampat is immersed by huge school of anchovies. In years before 2024, I personally witness these schools being hunted by schools of Mobula Rays. Unfortunately in 2024, we had only a few brief encounters with the hunting Mobulas Ray. But there are still mad other predators that come for the anchovy feasting. And seeing theses large school of anchovies being chased around this dive site is something special.
