A few days ago we took the new Horizon FD85, with fast displacement hull design, out for a sea trial in the bay of Palma and let her high performance piercing bow (HPPB) cut the waves. For the new FD85, Horizon Yachts was breaking the tradition and decided to step away from a normal planning or a displacement hull form. HORIZON demonstrates herewith again to be a trendsetter and not a trend follower in the yachting industry.
