Founded in 1890 by Cataldo Aprea, Fratelli Aprea has been hand crafting their infamous Gozzo Sorrentino boat for six generations. Born from the seafaring traditions of Sorrento, Italy, Fratelli Aprea is proud to offer modern refinements on these Mediterranean classics now available in America. Utilizing only the finest materials and construction techniques available to the trade, the builder has created a reputation and mystique and their legendary Aprea semi-displacement hull design has proven itself for generations as being a smooth, comfortable, and stable platform, shaped by the unpredictable Mediterranean Sea herself. Featured in this video are three boat models: The 780 Traditional Gozzo Boat - with roots as a traditional wooden fishing vessel the boat has been refined over generations to evolve into a luxury day boat ideal for picnicking and cruising with family and friends. The unique tiller-steered boat has a galley and comfortable cabin with a head, perfect for a "wine and pasta nap" after soaking in the sun all day. Fratelli Aprea Sorrento 750 A 25 foot center console with class, this the Sorrento 750 boat features beautiful hardwood including varnished mahogonay and teak, with fine woodworking throughout. A full mini galley with a bed and head she is a stable, seaworthy day boat ideal for having fun with friends and family. She is fully customizable from the fabrics, stitchings and colors to the amenities onboard. Sorrento 32 Hardtop The smallest cabin cruiser that the builder makers (they also do a 36 footer and a 50 footer), is a capable and comfortable cabin cruiser. Ideal for inclement weather or those wanting a bit more shade and comfort on the water for a day of cruising, this boat is powered by twin Volvo Penta 340s and cruises around 18 knots. She tops out around 26 knots and plows through big water with her full keel and a rock solid stable ride - characteristics that make her a great coastal cruiser.
