Ep68 | NERVOUS! 5 days OFFSHORE to BAHAMAS - our longest sail after the Atlantic | Linnea Sailing

Here we go! It's time to pull up the anchor and leave the BVIs! From Rock Sound in the BVIs to George Town in Bahamas we have a 780 nautical mile ahead of us. This will be our longest passage since crossing the Atlantic, over one year ago! And we have had a lot of bad passages lately with being seasick, ill and a lot of strange weather - so we don't feel overly confident about heading out on this crossing. But we prepare the best we can with lots of pre-cooked food, snacks and trying to change our mindset. THIS WILL BE A GOOD CROSSING! Don't forget to subscribe as the journey continue next week! After a season in the Caribbean, we decided to leave Linnea in Trinidad and fly back to Sweden for the hurricane season. This allowed us to get an extra year of sailing and reach even more beautiful destinations for our second season of cruising. For now the goal is Greenland and back home to Sweden, via the Caribbean, BVIs, Bahamas, US east coast, and Canada. But who really knows how far our dreams might take us?
